Standard behavior

Before setting up the rule, users’ interactions are tracked by default in our system. The tracking can be modified at the user’s level by setting their tracking preferences.

Changing the Default tracking behavior

Configure the default rule for tracking new user interactions on your platform.

1️⃣ Default tracking set to false

Ensure that user interactions are logged only upon explicit consent by setting the rule to tracked=false. Activate a user’s interaction tracking after obtaining their consent by updating their tracking preferences.

2️⃣ Default tracking set to true (default value)

Ensure that user interactions are automatically logged by default by setting the rule to tracked=true (default value). If a user declines tracking, update their preferences to deactivate interaction tracking.
