You can decide to activate this rule, so that content already interacted by your users does not appear in the recommendation.

You can configure the DĂ©jĂ vu rule by defining two parameters:
Based on your integration with Rumo, you can decide which interactions can be excluded from recommendation.
e.g.: if the rule is set up for the bookmark interaction, content bookmarked by your users won’t appear in their list of personalized recommendations.
In the case of items pertaining to a collection (Parent or Child), you can choose whether the DĂ©jĂ vu rule applies only to the interacted item or to the entire collection it belongs to:
For example, if a user watches an episode of a TV series:
<aside> 💡 This setting only applies to content that is part of a collection (Parent or Child items). For items of type “Single”, only the interacted item will be excluded from future personalized recommendations (if the Deja Vu rule has been set up).

This setting helps you control how previously consumed content is filtered from recommendations.
You can also define the timeframe within which bookmarked item should not appear in the recommendation.

When the value is set at 0, the rule does not apply and the recently interacted items are recommended.

By default, items watched within the past 30 days are filtered out from the list of recommendations.
